We offer a monomer toolbox for tailor-making degradable vinyl polymers
At Ecolanka, we have developed an innovative technology to design copolymers with on-demand degradation to meet specifications of our customers. Degradable polymers are prepared by radical copolymerisation of common monomers like ethylene, vinyl acetate, styrene, and acrylates with 1-25% of our patented comonomers.

Our patented technology integrates degradability into high-performance polymers without significantly altering their original properties.
#2 Monomer compatibility
We offer monomers of suitable reactivity in radical polymerization to produce on-demand degradable polymers: LDPE, EVA, acrylics, styrenics and other vinyls.
#3 Straightforward adoption
Preparation of degradable polymers using Ecolanka monomers does not require changes to existing polymer production lines.
Use case : Recyclability
Simplifying recyclability of complex materials with Ecolanka
Packaging made from materials that could be bonded with polymers containing Ecolanka technology could be efficiently separated and sorted, improving both the quality and quantity of materials recovered for recycling. Packaging made from two polymers bonded with Ecolanka products can be separated after use.

Solving the problem of biodegradation for non-degradable plastics
We supply polymer producers with proprietary monomers designed for next-generation, high-performance materials with potential for biodegradation. Biodegradation occurs after the material is disposed of in a biologically rich environment, where the material undergoes stepwise degradation without releasing microplastics.
